Amber was first introduced to Pilates through her dance training. There, she found fulfilment in conditioning and learning biomechanics through the Pilates method. Her belief in its benefits was strengthened after seeing the positive effects the training had on her mother after a disc herniation and later, during recovery from breast cancer. This prompted Amber to train to become an instructor at the STOTT PILATES® headquarters studio in Toronto, Canada, enabling her to share the positive effects with others.
She is a fully certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor (Level 3 REPs) in all levels of mat and studio, Injuries and Special Populations, as well as further speciality training including, Pre/Post-natal, Osteoporosis, Scoliosis, and Flexion-free. Continuing her love for movement and dance, she is also a Zumba Instructor (for Kids, Aqua, and Gold).
Amber is passionate about teaching mind and body awareness wherein through precision, she encourages her clients to continually progress. Her clients’ wellbeing and understanding of their bodies through movement and basic anatomy is most important to her.
